WELCOME TO AFLAH

AFLAH ACADEMY is an independent accredited funded private school approved by Alberta Education that is located in Edmonton, Alberta. With a team of dedicated educators, Volunteers, and Parents we are committed to providing high-quality education to families with students from grade 1 to grade 9. Our primary focus is on offering the Alberta Program of Studies and Islamic Education programs to meet the diverse educational needs of our students.

We provides a well-rounded education that combines secular, cultural, and religious studies (Alberta Programs of Studies and Arabic, Islamic, and Qur’anic studies). This approach allows students to receive a strong foundation in core subjects such as Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, while also incorporating elements of Islamic education.

The integration of Islamic, Quranic, and Arabic Studies adds a unique dimension to the curriculum, providing students with a deeper understanding of their cultural and religious heritage. This approach not only fosters academic development but also helps in nurturing a sense of identity and values among the students.

The Academy was founded to offer a comprehensive and holistic education experience to students in Edmonton, Alberta. Our founders recognized the need for a private school that not only delivers academic excellence but also nurtures students' spiritual and moral growth through our Islamic Education program.
